Die Cut Flower Thank You Card

This is something a little different
I used my die cut floral and swirl shapes and of course embossing panels to make this Thank You card
It was interesting to work out how this was going to come together and I think it looks quite affective

I also entered this card for the Rainbows Last 2011 Challenge

Silhouette Thank You Card

This time of year I get to make some Thank You cards for the friends that have sent me Christmas Presents.
Most of them are simple little cards, and it makes me think a bit more how to make a none 3D card interesting :D
Generally I try and use embellishments to make the card interesting.
The topper was from a Making Cards Mag and it worked well with one of my spellbinder layer dies.
Punched flowers and butterfly - the butterfly I painted in with cosmic gold paint - gives it a lovely shimmer

Delicate Vintage Floral Topper - Free Art

This is my last free topper for crafters for this year. It seems to have gone is so quickly.  This one is a lovely delicate floral topper that would make a nice winter birthday card as well as a summer one

White Christmas Card

This was a last minute Christmas Card that I made using a Thomas Kinkade design from a Joanna Sheen Craft CD

It is also one I've entered for the
Rainbows White Christmas Challenge

I made the design into a Stripped Pyramid Design which I think worked quite well. A good card for a man at Christmas too

Blue Festive Lady Card - Debbi Moore Design

I got a late request for a festive card and picked this elegant lady design - one of Debbi Moore's
I love the detail in the ladies dress, which looks so nice with a bit of glitter
I used a Glitter Girls embossing board for the layer and one of my die cut shapes to make the bell embellishment

Shiny Angel Card

I made this angel christmas card with a metalic 3D sheet. The photo doesn't show up the design as well as Id hoped
The design really is lovely though, and has a lovely sheen with it being metalic
I made this card for the Rainbow Lady's Angel Card Challenge

Frosty Christmas Card

A lovely Frosty looking Christmas card
I made this card using a La Pashe 3D Sheet. I could almost feel the bracing winter winters and hear the crunching snow when I saw this design

I made this card for a challenge - ABC Challenges - F = Frosty

This La Pashe sheet is quite large so had to make an A5 card, but the detail is lovely and very festive

Thank You Cat Card

Its the time of year when I made the odd card to thank a friend for a festive present in the New Year
I tend to use all kinds of themes for these cards, as I don't feel it really matters what images or designs you use
used a sweet cat design to go on this card and a die cut border to end the card.

Sepia Vintage Lady Card

I used a vintage photo design I have on CD to make this lovely birthday card
I created the frame to go with the lady image and used die cut shapes for the flourish and border
The embossing pattern in the base cad doesnt show very well in this photo, which is a shame as it's quite delicate.

Snow Queen Card - using Debbi Moore Design

One of Debbi Moore's Craft Mags came with a lovely selection of designs on CD
The Snow Queen collection.

The main character on the CD is the lovely Snow Queen. I do like the different toppers and used one of the 3D designs to create this card
I used my snowflake die cut shape and gems to embellish
