Embossed Stickers Cards

I re-discovered some lovely embossed stickers after making a recent card with a new cutting die

I have craft stash that I had forgotten about, which is something I'm sure a lot of crafters can relate to :D

The stickers really are quite lovely, I remember getting them a few years ago and not being sure what I would do with them.

So trying to be creative, I have used some of the stickers for these recent cards.
This one I made in striking purple, black and silver tones.  I like being able to use embossing folders to enhance plain card/paper

I used my new Marianne flower die without the matching leaves on this card.
Again the embossing folders blend in the layers with the lovely embossed stickers.

These stickers also have glitter on, though that doesnt show on photo.

Snowflake Festive Card

This is a lovely snowflake card. I used a Debbi Moore design from one of her Craft CD's

There were more layers with this snowflake, but I only used two layers, and added a crystal gem for the 3rd.  The paper also matches the design.

A simple, but quite affective card, quite a crisp clean affect

I made this for the 52cct blog theme challenge 4

Floral Dies and Punch Card

I got a new Marianne die recently, a floral one with matching leaves.
I decided to try it out with some lovely embossed toppers that I have had in my collection for a long time

I also used a border punch with vellum on this card and used an embossing folder.

So there is a lot of pattern detail in this card, more than I usually include.

I made this card for the Punches and Dies Challenge

Subtle Shaded Fairy Card

One of my favourite themes is fantasy. I especially like fairy designs, but don't always get much chance to make many fairy cards

I have had this 3D sheet in my collection for sometime and finally got around to using it.
I love the subtle colours and delicate wings, of course added a little pink glitter to those.

I used a Cheery Lynn detailed frame die to add a bit of interest to the layering on this card. And though it doesnt show well in this photo, the backing paper does show up through that lattice pattern.

Spring Tulips Card

This lovely tulip design was a purchased 3D sheet. I've had it for a while and not got around to using it.

I used cutting dies for the layer and border (which is one of Marianne's dies). And I had some nice gold glitter ribbon that was thin enough to thread through the border pattern.

I used the same embossing folder to put a pattern in the green layer and border die cut.

Used one of the many lovely pattern papers, Im sure Ive enough backing papers to decorate a room - LOL

As usual the glitter that I have put on all the tulip flowers is barely visible, shame as it really glitters in the light

I made this card for the Crafty Boots - No Girls Allowed Challenge

Vintage Girl Card - Kate Greenaway

This is a card made using Kate Greenaway artwork.
I discovered her art years ago when I got a set of 3D sheets. I liked it so much I bought a image Collection from Dover Publications by this artist.

So this is a little bit of a blast from the past as I'd not used the artwork for a while.
I forgot just how elegant it is, and it has such a lovely vintage feel.
I used X Cut frame Cutting dies to shape the layering. And for a change I used vintage patterned card for a layer, instead of mirror board

I made this card for the Vintage Challenge on Rainbows Challenge Blog

Spring Bird Family Card

I made this lovely blue tit family card with artwork by Jayne Netley Mayhew.
It is a digital design from a Joanna Sheen CD
I love the detail and colour, its so delicate and probably one of the nicest bird design's Ive ever used.

I cut a flourish with my cuttlebug and just added some flower crystal gems to it.

Poinsettia Festive Card

I made this card with a topper from the Making Card Mag
Embossing gold mirror board and I made the embellishment with Marianne's Poinsettia die and Memory Box Holly Vine die

This is one of the first cards I made using these dies, which I only recently purchased
There are two poinsettia dies, this one was using the plainer, patterned edged one cut out with glitter card

Im not being that creative at present, so will be looking around for more inspiration. Though I do like how the poinsettia flower works with the holly vine

Holly Vine and Winter Flower Card

I wanted to do a simple christmas card so using a topper from the Making Cards Mag, I added a couple of Holly Vine's (made with a Memory Box die)
I added the red crystal gems to list the holly a little
Not terribly imaginative, but I think it works OK

Just getting use to using this new die and still looking for ideas

Cards Made With Craft Prize

I recently won a craft prize draw offered by a kind crafter on Do Craft
I got a lovely set of 3D sheets included in the prize
I made this Christmas card with one sheet, such a sweet design.
I used a couple of my cutting dies to make the embellishments, of the bell and poinsettia - both Marianna dies.

I made this card with one of the other lovely cat 3D sheets.
Again such a sweet design, which I hope I've done justice too

Vintage Fruit - Free Art

Sometimes it's nice to have something a little different, theme wise, for making a card. So I made a nice frame with this lovely fruit topper.  Hope folks find it usefull

Fantasy Festive Lady Card

I used a Debbi Moore design from one of her Craft CD's to make this christmas card
And yes, Im now in xmas card making mode - LOL.... Once I had done my first, that was it.

I got this CD with her Craft Mag and did not get chance to use it much last year.
It's lovely artwork, and I do like the fantasy feel to it.

With some lovely paper, and a the bauble embellishment - made with a Marianne Die Cut Shape - I've made this simple, but hopefully affective card

I've entered this card in the Recent 52 Weeks of Xmas Challenge

Strawberry Garden Card

This card was made with a design from the Cottage Squeeze card Craft CD
I love the detail, and again, as always, I have added glitter to those lovely flowers, though it barely shows

I made this at the weekend when it was much warmer - LOL
It felt like summer, so I made a summery card.

I do tend to print out my 3D designs at a reasonable size, so that you get to see the stunning detail in a lot of the artwork I use.
Of course because I also usually make a 5x7 size card, that means little else can get included.
But I feel the artwork holds it own :D

I've entered this in Challenge 64 on Anything Goes Challenge Blog

Silver Motorbike Card

I don't get chance to make my male cards. So it's always a difficult theme for me to tackle

This card I made with a digital motorbike image I had in my collection. I made it into a 3D sheet, which I think works really well with this motorbike.

The backing paper I've had a for a while, been itching for a chance to use it.

I've entered this card in the Mans World Challenge on Joanna Sheen's Blog

Butterflies and Flowers Card

I made this card with a vintage design I had in my image collection.  I added a frame then I made a 3D sheet

The colours are lovely, and the butterflies are so nicely placed. I added a little bit of glitter, which I think you can just about see.

I made this card for the Butterlies Challenge on Rainbows Challenge Blog
