Material Dress Card

I bought a dress bodice template some years ago and just recently unearthed it from my craft stash
It had been a long time since I last used this template and I had bought some lovely material to use as skirts

So I decided to make card, the bodice I cut out of handmade pattern card. The skirt is gold mess material. And I used a Marianne swirl die and black pearls for the pattern on the dress.

It was a nice reminder of what I could do with this lovely template

Doggy Festive Card

I won this cute doggy festive pyrimid design in a prize. Something I wouldn't normally pick for myself, so was nice to get to use different kind of artwork

I used my Marianne Bauble die and Provo Craft Snowflake die to make the embellishment.

I like the bow I added at the bottom of the design, there was one in the image, but I perfer the material one - looks more tactile.

I try and remember to use my ornate borders and corners peel offs, they do finish off the edging of a black card nicely

Vintage Girls with Lampost Festive Card

I was slightly more creative with this card.

I had a vintage decoupage sheet that I purchased some time ago, and decided to split the girl characters in the design.

I wanted to use these two figures with my Marianne Lampost die. I cut out the lampost and used part of the Holly Vine (Memory Box) die to add the element to the lampost base.

Had the two girls standing under the lampost as seperate characters.  Looks very different to what the original sheet had been.

This was fun to do, splitting elements from a pre-designed 3D sheet and encorporating them with my dies.

Black and White Die Shaped Card

Recently I have been doing some swaps, of die cut shapes and craft bits with other crafting friends.
Been so nice to get chance to use items I didnt have in my own stash.

I love this stopper and the die cut lady shape. I added flowers to the lady to make it more lush.
And used my fancy papers for the bottom layer.

It was a simple card to make, but I feel it looks classy.

Puppies in a Tub Card

I had a birthday card to make, which at this time of year is a nice change
I fancied making an animal themed card, and I had this cute little design in my collection

The faces on the 3D design are so cute :D

I used a gold butterfly peel off stuck onto velum for the embellishment.

I dont do many animal themed cards, which is unsual really because Im a real animal lover. I really should do more as I have some lovely designs

Decorating Christmas Tree Card

Despite having so many lovely designs on Craft CD's, I still buy the odd Decoupage Sheet.

I had a design left from a pack of 3D sheets I purchased last year.

This sweet kid decorating a Christmas Tree was one I'd not used

I used a bauble embossing panel to decorate the mat gold layer
And used Marianne Die - swirl and poinsettia to make the extra embellishment.

There is glitter on the tree - honest - LOL

Poinsettia Floral Festive Card

I love winter flower displays. And I always have a few out during the festive period.

I so like this stunning poinsettia design, from my art collection and  I made into 3D. Such nice detail

I used a festive embossing folder to add pattern to the layer. And made the embellishment with a holly vine (Memory Box) die and Poinsettia (Marianne) die.

And of course its glittered :D

Red Paris Art Deco Lady Festive Card

I like elegant lady designs and wanted to use the some of the stunning artwork from a Debbi Moore Paris Art Deco CD for festive cards

So I picked out some designs that I thought would work.  This lovely red version of one of the Art Deco ladies is a good colour for christmas.

I combined it with a Flower Soft lampost topper to give it a more festive feel.

As always a bit glitter on both designs on this card, and as always, it barely shows.
Shame as the glitters I use really sparkle in the light.
