Carnations in Pink Card

I made this card using one of the floral fantasy designs on a Joanna Sheen Craft CD

Lovely pink carnations. I made the design into a 3D sheet and put glitter on the petals.

The backing is a vintage design I also purchased from Joanna Sheen (its one of a stunning paper pack)

I made the embellishment with a Marianne swirl cutting die and butterfly stamp (embossed in glitter white powder)

Simple, but so pretty. Really like this card

Ive entered this card into the Joanna Sheens - Down the Garden Challenge

Snowy Hedge Cottage Card

This is another card made using Glynn Williams artwork.
With such nice detail in a design, I tend to print that out as large as I can manage for the card size Im making
It is such a shame to loose out in the detail, but that also means there is little space of anything else.
There is glitter on the snow - honest - LOL

Love the little cat you see at the gate, nice little touches like that in a lot of his artwork

Christmas Tree Santa Card

I made this card with Glynn Williams artwork, from a Joanna Sheen CD
I love the detail of this artists works, and have used a few of his designs for festive cards.

I used a Marianne cutting die for the bell, which is hung on the tag with a loop.  I havent used this die as much as I'd thought I would. The bauble is detailed, but a little bigger really for the 5x7 sized cards I generally do.

Pink Elegant Art Deco Rome Lady Card

A few weeks ago I got a new craft cd - Art Deco Rome - by Debbi Moore
The artwork is stunning, I'm itching to use more if it. However, I only had a few cards that weren't festive to make at present.

So got the chance to make another lovely card that could be for any occasion. Really elegant, and I didn't add much to this card other than the beautiful design.

Some nice paper, made a pretty pink bow and added some gems to the frame on the design.

Metalic Blue Floral Card

I recieved a lovely set of metalic decoupage designs for my birthday.
I made this card with one of them, a lovely blue foral with that nice frame detail.

The backing paper is felted, so has a lovely texture.

Nice little bow, with the layering and a tag.  Made for an elegant card.

I do like metalic designs, however, they don't photograph very well.

Gold Art Deco Couple Card

I don't get chance to make many cards for couples, so it is nice to do them especially has I have so many lovely designs to make.

I used a Art Deco Rome design by Debbi Moore. Love the detail in the dress, and though you probably can't see it well, there is glitter on that detail

I used an embossing folder to add pattern to the gold layer, and a simple gold bow to finish off.

Love working with elegant designs and of course elegant ladies.  I do like the dresses :D

Bathtime

This would be a great card for a young child's birthday or new baby even.

I used a Faye Whittaker design from a Joanna Sheen craft CD.  I love the little cat looking into the bath - LOL.
And made the butterfly with a rubber stamp (A rarity for me), I used cosmic heat embossing powder for the stamp.

A really sweet card, and not a theme I normally make, so made a nice change for me.

North Pole Festive Lady Card

I have a large collection of digital images that I got from a PSP artist - Outlaw by Design.

I often combine the characters with frames, backgrounds, other elements etc to make my down topper which I then make into a 3D sheet.

This card was made with one of those creations.

I made the embellishements with Memory Box holly vine die and Marianne star die.

I enjoy doing these kinds of toppers/sheets myself. Just finding the time to go through the hundreds of images I've collected over the years.

Butterflies, Bird and Flowers Card

I pushed the boat out recently and got myself some new cutting dies.

I managed to use a few of them on this card.

Spellbinders edgeabilities for the patterned borders, there are three in the set I got. Its something Ive been considering for a while, getting one of these sets and I managed to use two of the borders in this card, I love the patterns.  Just need a bit more inspiration for using them now.

The flower topper is made with Marianne floral dies. The larger ones with the little swirl is one set and the small one is a different one, and compliments the others so nicely.
I can see this becoming a favourite floral die.

I didnt have a butterfly cutting die and pondered for quite a while which one to get.
In the end it was a lovely set of Marianne butterfly dies, they are small and I love the swirly pattern in them.  Great for putting on the smaller cards I often make.
Now I can use up some of the lovely patterned card/papers and make nice butterfly embellishments.

I thought this card would be great for the Deep Ocean Things with Wings challenge

Dogs Waiting for Santa Card

I made this card using a design from the Festive Furry Friends Squeeze card CD.
I love the little dogs in this scene, its really so cute.  I do like to make animal themed festive cards.

The detail for the house and snowy trees is lovely.  Gives it a real festive feel.

I used my Provo snowflake die for the embellishments.  Cut out in gold glitter card.  A great way to use up the various glitter card and paper I have in my stash.

Ive entered this card in the Winter Wonderland Christmas Pets challenge

I actually won the challenge with this card, Im thrilled :D

Christmas Dragon Card

I have a large collection of Dover Art which I have made a few of the images into toppers and 3D sheets.

This one is so cute, of a dragon blewing out a festive candle. I like fantasy art, so couldnt resist using this one.

I used a Provo snowflake die for the embellishments.

Red and Green Christmas Art Deco Card

I used one of Debbi Moore's Art Deco Lady designs to make this card.

I used a Marianne Poinsettia Die to make the embellishment.

A simple card, though quite eye catching with all the detail in the Design.

I have entered this into the Anything Challenge- Challenge 75

Red Squirrel Christmas Card

I made this card with a design from my Squeeze Card CD's.  I love the bushy tail on this squirrel :D

There is glitter on the design, though as usual you cant see it.

I used a Marianne bauble cutting die for the extra embellishment.

Really like the artwork included in my collection of Squeeze Card CD's. And I can still use them despite not making squeeze cards.
