Kitchen Cabinet Display Card

This is a design I made myself from my digital collection, which I made into a 3D sheet.

Made this into a bright, busy card.

Ive used Marianne Swirl and Butterfly cutting dies for the embellishments
Also used Marianne Frame cutting die in mirror board
And made a nice bright fancy bow.

I like how colourfull this card is, from the backing design to the 3D and the embellishment, it all says colour :D

Labrador Pup Card

I went back to my stash with this card, a 3D sheet I have had in my collection for ages

I love how cute this little design is, and the shape of the layers.
It was also just the right size to use with the Marianne Circle cutting die. I used the matching card with this design to cut out the frame

And I also used a Marianne border die with the same paw patterned card with a bit of ribbon.

A simple card, but I think that frame really makes it interesting.

Vintage Couple by Kate Greenaway Card

I really like vintage designs and this design from my stash is one I got from Joanna Sheen
Artwork by Kate Greenaway.

I love the subtle vintage backing that I used with this card

The Marianne frame cutting die is also used, this square one has become one of my favourites and most usefully dies.

Mini Octangle Book

Something I rarely get to do, is a shaped card or even a booklet.
So it was a real treat to think up this Mini Book that I want to offer as a prize at a local craft group , in my area.

I decided to try use various types of craft things to make each page.  And I liked the idea of the shape, having not done an Octangle one before - I used a Glitter Girls embossing board for the shape of the pages.

This first photos is the book complete, showing the front page - I used a shaped 3D sheet of an elegant lady and a Marianne Floral Cutting die for the embellshment.

Another page was made using a rubber stamp. Rubber stamping is something Ive never felt really comfortable with.  However, I do have some nice ones and I used a detailed floral one that I got with a Craft Mag for this page
I used Cosmic Shimmer embossing powder on it, which gives a lovely sheen in the light.

The only time I like rubber stamping is when I use the various heat embossing powders I own.

I used an Embossing folder to decorate the base card on this page.

I couldnt so something like this without including an Art Deco lady.
This topper is from a Debbi Moore craft mag.  Just the right size for the various layers and an embossed butterfly sticker to finish.
Again I used an Embossing folder to decorate the base card on this page

It was fun thinking about what to use in my stash to decorate the pages of this mini book
I realised I hadnt used a Peel Off in ages, and found this great glossy bodice PO in my stash
You can actually use threads on this PO, but I decided to use it with one of the lovely backing papers in my stash, I then added ribbon, which adds a lovely bit of texture on the bodice.

The flowers were also part of the PO sheet and I used a Memory Box swirl cutting die with those flowers.

I think this page is my favourite in this mini book
Its a detailed patterned bird topper, and I used some lovely pattered card and paper from my stash with a Marianne Floral Cutting die to make the embellishment

One of the reasons I got into Cutting Machines, is to be able to make my own lovely embellishments, and I do like how subtle this page turned out

I like projects like this as a Keepsake, something a little different for someone to enjoy for a while.  And of course a few days of creative fun for me in making it.

Teddies in Basket Card

Continuing with using up stash in my craft room, I dug out another Dufex 3D design that I have had for a while

This is a lovely cute teddy design, teddies in a basket :D

used a lovely detailed printed card for the first layer, which included a glittered section, I cut that off and used it as a border.

I used a Marianne frame die on this too, the subtle colours worked well with the vibrant colours of the teddy design

Only a bow for an embellishment on this one.

New York in Pink Card

This card was made with paper and topper from one of Debbi Moore's Inspiration Craft Mags

I love the elegance of the paper and the lady topper, even the dress has such nice detail in it

I used Marianne flower cutting die and swirl for the main embellishment, and a nice fancy tag with a bow I made.

Not too much more to add to this card, because I think the artwork holds its own

Dufex Pansy Card

This is a lovely Dufex 3D design Ive had in my stash for ages. One of those I liked so much, I wouldnt use it - LOL

I used Memory Box swirl cutting die with a butterfly topper for the embellishment

I also used a Marianne circular frame cutting die, I embossed a pattern in a couple of the layers on that die which I really liked the affect of

The paper is pale lilac, which works so nice with the purple embellishment and the purple layering.

Really like how this card turned out.

Ive entered this card into the  - Joanna Sheen - Spring into Spring Challenge
and Marianne's Divas - At Bottom of Garden Challenge

Elf Card

Most of the Debbi Moore designs I get are from the CD's that come with her Inspiration Craft Mag.
This card is made with a background and character from one of those Craft CD's
I love the Fantasy artwork, as a nature feel to it.

I used my Nellie swirl cutting die and Marianne floral cutting die to make the embellishments.

I decided to use my X Cut frame dies to cut the background design and quite like the affect, the shape matches in nice with the other cut layer.

Glittered Embossing Card

I am trying to use my embossing panels more, I have some really lovely patterns to use

This one I decided to use glitter and glitter pens to colour in part of the embossed pattern.  I like the affect of the pens the best and will probably do this again

I used a Marianne floral cutting die for the embellishment and a Memory Box swirl cutting die for part of the embellishments.
I like how they work together

The bow I made and the butterfly is out of my stash.

One of those cards were I dont use a digital design or topper sheet. I like doing this kind of card for a change, as I have to be more creative

Fantasy Wood Lady - Free Art

I love the mystical look and feel to this topper. Worked well with the blue frame I made for it
