Red Party Shoe Card

I used a Topper from a Debbi Moore craft mag for this card
A stunning elegant Red Shoe, wouldn't a pair of these be lovely on my feet - LOL

I added glitter to the shoe, and used my cutting dies to make an interesting embellishment for the shoe

I used a Memory Box die and Marianne die.

A simple card, but I do like it. And not a subject matter I do very often, fashion.

I entered this card into the following challenges -

Die Cutting Divas Anything Goes 126

Pink Party Lady Card

This card was made with a lovely Debbi Moore design.
A great design for many themes, I used it for a birthday.

I worked in Pink tones for most of this card, the butterfly was an embellishment I have had for ages.

The flower section was made with Cutting Dies. I mix and match my dies now, which is fun.
I used a Marianne die, and Creelies on this card.
A nice, little white bow (that I made) adds something different to that collage.

I am having fun being creative with my dies, and adding different elements to make a detailed Embellishments :D

House Mouse Holly Wreath Card

This is another of the sweet House Mouse designs from the Christmas Craft CD by Joanna Sheen
I used this design as a single topper as doing it in 3D would of been very fiddly.

I used Marianne Frame and Bauble dies for extra interest, all cut out with mirror board.
Were would I be without Mirror Board - LOL

I am using the Tag Cutting Dies a lot too, one of the most usefull dies I bought and cheapest - with that one being X Cut

Holly Wreath Christmas Card

I don't generally do a lot of Wreath cards because I prefer 3D designs
However, I opted to do a few single topper cards again for this Christmas which I can jazz up a little with embellishments.
So Ive been able to use this lovely Holly Wreath digital design Ive had for a while

I used Marianne frame and holly dies for extra interest - cut out using glittered card.

They compliment each other quite nicely
One of the nice things of keeping a blog, is reminding myself of what I feel works

House Mouse Christmas Tree Card

Another cute design from my House Mouse Christmas CD, by Joanna Sheen
Again I printed the topper on canvas paper, to give it a more subtle look

The embellishment was made with Marianne Holly die and a snowflake punch.  Nicely glittered card used for both so it's actually quite a sparkly card

Always feels a little odd making winter cards in summer, but I need to start them early or else Christmas is far too stressfull - LOL

Christmas Front House Card

Ive had this digital design in my collection for ages too and until not not gotten around to using it

I really like the sweet snowman at the front :D

I used a Cheery Lynn Holly die and a snowflake punch for the corner details, quite like that affect
And also the Wording Die.  Its a little bit bigger than I was expecting this die, had hoped it would be slightly smaller

Snow Ski Rabbit Card

This card was made with a really cute digital design I have had in my collection for ages and until now, hadn't gotten around to using

I used a new wording Cutting Die on this card, little bit awkward finding a way to stick the delicate wording onto a card - I ended up cutting it out with double side tape on the back, just to peel off when I use the wording

I also used Marianne Holly and Pointsettia dies for the embellishment.
Very sweet image this, I love it.
And especially liked the affect of cutting the topper with a layering die to match the mirror board shape.

House Mouse Acorn Festive Card

The year is flying in and I realised I needed to get more Christmas cards made

I finally got to you a design from the House Mouse Christmas Project CD by Joanna Sheen - such wonderful, warm, cute designs with these little mice.

I printed this topper onto Canvas Paper, which gaves it a more watercoloured affect

I also used Marianne Cutting dies for the Frame, Holly and Poinsettia.
Was fun searching through my stash of card and papers to get different affects with these dies.

Ive entered this into the Paula's Dieing for it Challenge

Lilac Toned Vintage Lady Card

I had a set of these vintage ladies by La Pashe in my stash, and finally used the second design

This one has more subtle lilac tones, so I went with purple and black for the embellishments on this card.

I used a Marianne Floral Cutting die on this card.  Ive a nice little stash of patterned handmade papers that I got in a sale.
The cutting dies in my collection are really coming into their own when using these papers and all the other smaller pattern papers I have in my stash :D

I pondered a long time about getting a cutting machine and now I have a Big Shot and a small collection of Dies, and having so much fun with them. Also I feel I have saved money on embellishments.

Delicate Pink Fairy Card

I have had this girl fairy design in my stash for ages.  It's lovely artwork, and Ive since seen it available on craft CD

The design sheet came with its own backing paper, which I used on this card.

And I used a Spellbinders Border cutting die to decorate the pattern card I also used, you dont see much of that though.
Never sure about this kind of layout, I always feel if I'm going to use a border die, that I should show off more of the pattern

Very delicate affect with colours, so stay with pale white and pinks thoroughout.

All in Purple Vintage Lady Card

Half way through the year and I am still doing well and using up old stash.
This is a design I've had, by La Pashe, in my stash for years.

Lovely shades of purple in the ladies headdress, so I focused on all the embellishments and papers to be purple

I think it's made for a striking affect

The flower is made with a Creelies cutting dies, and the swirl is a Nellies die.

Quite a bit of fiddly cutting out for this 3D sheet, which is probably why it had been in my stash for so long.
But worth the effort
