This topper is one of the larger ones, that comes with the craft mag, and I find them quite hard to use up, as I dont often make A5 sized cards.
I kept this card reasonably simple, a little bit of patterned holographic card was used for the layering.
Also my cutting dies were used, leaves and flowers. Again I mixed and matched the dies used, these leaves came with a different die, but I felt worked quite well with this lovely sizzix flower die.
Done in lilac, purple and black tones, with a touch of silver on patterned card and corners.
Simple, and affective :D

Another good theme for a male card. And also got to use the new Xcut Musical cutting dies I got recently.
There are a few musical shapes on the set, and I got them to make embellishments for the Stepping Stones 2to Group Craft Sessions.
I will have to play with different affects with the musicial cutting dies, thinking that using my heat embossing powders and mica paints may have an interesting affect for these.

I do like vintage for male themed cards too, so this vintage plane works well, and nice to see it in a different shade.
I used a star cutting die (quite like the cascade of stars affect) and also a Xcut watch cutting die. The watch takes some putting together as there are a few small fiddly bits, but well worth the effort.

The detail in the dress is lovely, and I tried to reflect that in the embellishment, by using a swirl cutting die to go with the acorn die. I really like how the swirl works with these acorns, will have to remember to do this again :D
Subtle colours used, and not too fancy.

I used various cutting dies on this card too. A Xcut layering die. Also Ivy corners, bird house and little bird (all by Marianne Dies)
I had been wondering how I could use the little bird house and bird, and found it complimented this corner die well.

The papers I used were from one of her craft Mags, and went well with this lady design, loved the lace affect
Only used one embellishment, as it was my largest butterfly cutting die. Love the detail in this butterfly, though it works better on larger cards.
Really like the detail in the papers and the lady design

I love the vintage lady design, such a delicate look, and so like those flowers in her hair and her hand
Sticking with the lovely muted gold and brown tones, I used papers from my stash to make the embellishment, which is an Ivy, Butterfly and Flower - made for a nice combination
The bow was made with gold organza.
Such a warm and elegant look, with these colours

The detail is lovely and I couldnt resist using a vintage rose backing paper to compliment it.
The embellishmentn was made with a Ivy cutting die and a new butterfly cutting die that embosses too.

Thought I would finally get it used. Quite often I've forgotten about other lovely elegant lady designs due to using a lot of craft CD's/
Stayed with pink, white and black for the colour theme, which I felt worked really well. Quite a dramatic affect using black on a card
I used various cutting dies, including a larger swirl one tht I dont get much chance to use very often.
