Angel in White Card

Yes, its a festive card :D

I had some cards I made nearer to xmas gone, which I didn't get chance to share.

This card was made with a Debbi Moore design, one of her lovely angel artwork. This design would look just as nice for other themes.

I used various cutting dies - as always :D
I really like the contrast with the white and the red on this card, and nice touch with the pearls

Fishing in Nature

This scene looks like a wonderful place to fish.

The artwork is one from a Joanna Sheen CD, love the detail and the colours.

A great male themed card, stayed with strong tones, and used one of my embossing folders to add a bit of texture.

I could see myself walking through this woodland scene along the colourful riverside, its stunning :D

A Summer Car Card

This male themed card, is one of the open top car lovers

I used to work in a garage, and this design reminds me of a car that was in the showroom once.
An open top car, that is great for hot summer days.
Hot summer days!  When, do we get many of those (lol)

Still a great male themed card.  And again those great Gear cutting die set, has come in handy :D

Large Pink Roses

Love these Roses

Roses are one of my favourite flowers, and I have quite a range of different rose digital designs in my collection.

This one was a design, I have had for a while, but not gotten around to using. I have finally made it into a 3D seet and used it on a card.

Very detailed rose artwrok, the lovely due drops on the petals, such a nice touch.

I used a couple of my dies to make a simple embellishment with this card, both being Marriane Dies.

To see the full list of cutting dies I use please do check - Cutting Dies Used, I update this list whenever I purchase a new cutting die.
And I hope this easy reference list helps visitors to find any dies they like the look of, in my projects :D

Whenever I am thinking of purchasing a new cutting die, I always go try find card samples that have used the die I am interested in.  And hope that crafters find my use of dies useful and inspiring.

Elegant Looking Glass Card

Vintage Touch of Elegance

This digital design is one from my collection, and I have finally combined ith with one of the fancy frames I also have then made into a 3D sheet.

The lady has a lovely elegant feel, love the vintage mirror :D

The card just asked for delicate, so I went with a delicate embellishment, using one of the swirl dies, and butterfly dies.

I also wanted that elegant embossed look, that I find I get when I use embossing panels. The dots just work lovely with this design

Just a few gems to the frame, adds a bit of bling.

Very lady like card, girly in a classy way.

I love being girlie, and when I can I love to use elegant designs that reflects this part of my personality :D

Cute Bird House

I have a few bird house shapes now, I could make a lovely little village :D

This house template, is smaller than the other ones I've used so far.  It has rounded sides, which gave a lovely cute look.

I used various cutting dies to decorate this project. It is a low shaped house, so not as much space to play with, and I like how these elements work together on this cute little house

Vintage Elements

A all vintage card.

I started using vintage designs on my cards years ago, and I still find myself drawn to the vintage look.

This girl design was a 3D sheet from my stash. I combined it with vintage paper, one from a pad I got from The Works.

The embellishment was made with a

Marianne D cutting die. And I made the bow from organza ribbon.

I really like the rustic, vintage look to this card.

Clock House

A house with a clock.

I like the bird house versions of the house projects I have done prior

This time I decided to do a clock house.  The clock face was made with the Xcut Dies - Chronology, Pocket Watches

I softened the look of the house with floral papers, butterfly and pine cones and sprigs.
These embellishments were made with -
Signature Dies - Pine Cones and cArt Us Nesting Dies - Butterflies

I like how different these house projects can look, just by changing the embellishments :D

Pearl Lady

Pearls with My Fair Lady art

I love Debbi Moore's My Fair Lady artwork collection, the designs are so elegant.

I went with black and white for this card, to compliment the colours in the design.

The backing is was white card embossed using one of my folders.
I also had this ribbon and pearl drop embellishment in my stash, very simple, but very elegant.

Just what was needed to go with this lovely elegant lady design

Purple Roses

Playing with Nature and Colour

The joy of crafting, is that you can take something in nature and have it any colour you can imagine, even if you rarely see it that colour naturally.

I decided to play with colour in this card.  You dont get many purple shade roses :D
I have changed to 2mm foam pads recently, and that has given me more depth with my Decoupage designs, which I really like.

The paper on this is so elegant, love it. And I used Marianne D Craftables – Butterfly, on this card, I really like this larger butterfly die, though don't use it that often due to the size of the die.

Pink Toned Floral Wreath

Love the Colours in this Wall Hanger

I have tried making various floral wreaths of late, and this is another attempt

I used various floral cutting dies, ribbon dies, leave dies and butterfly dies to create this wreath
As well as making my own bow with lovely, wide organza ribbon

The flowers work so well with this one, I didn't shape all the flowers upward this time, I did some curled edges and of course did lots of layers.
The mica paints really came in handy, all the individual flowers are painted, and they have such a lovely sheen in the light.
The finished flowers are lovely, I really like them and make for a lovely finished display.

This is the largest of the wreaths I have completed and it was a many sided octangle shaped, rather than round, much easier to cut out and decorate :D

Heart Floral Wreath

Heart Shaped Wall Wreath

I decided to try making a slightly different shaped wreath. This one is a heart shaped one.

I saw an idea on line of using pegs around the base of a wreath. I didn't have any pegs, however, I thought the Marianne D Creatables Ribbon Floral die would made for a nice affect, I have two of these dies, I used one on this card, in two different shapes of paper.

The flowers are made using a few cutting dies, combined and with quite a few layers, one was 8 layers, so very deep.  The card used was also painted with my cosmics.

I also used a couple of dies for the follage -

Marianne D Creatables Bird w/Ivy and the ,leaves from one of the floral dies.

The ribbon to hang and make the bow was bold and detailed, really eye catching.

Quite a lot of work involved in making the flowers especially, and I do  like the idea with the paper ribbon.

Owl Rose House

Pointed Roof House

I have a few small house templates in my collection, this one has the option of a door.
I made this for a gift, and it's so cute :D

This template has an open bottom and a fitted slanted roof, so a little different than the others I have.

The papes, are rose patterned.
The embellishment was made, with yellow roses for this house with the Cheery Lynn Designs Die - Gardinia, Small cutting die. I painted the yellow card with my cosmic paints, to give them that lovely sheen and Crafts-Too Sprig of Leave, added some pearls to that.

The owl, is from the Tattered Lace Die Owl Trio dies, really liking these little owls. I cut this one out in patterned card.

With having a few different templates for slightly different shaped houses, I can now make a mini village :D
