Owls and Deer

This is a festive card I made for last year.

I got some Hunkydory toppers and papers, and this topper was one of the smaller detailed designs. Really like the deer on it, very delicate and elegant.

The embellishment was made with an Owl and ivy cutting dies. The set of Tatty Lace owl dies are kinda cut, but this one I think is a good one to use on male cards.

Family Snowman

This festive card was made using a free topper from a craft mag.

The artwork is quite nice, quite detailed and lovely tones

I used a snowflake cutting die with gems to compliment this design. Which gave a simple, clean and affective finished card

Rustic Floral Lady

Ive had this lovely lady topper design in my stash for a while. It was actually a 3D design, but a twisted layered one, which I didn't really like the affect of, so just went with the base layer on this card.

I went with rustic, vintage tones to compliment the colours in the topper.

The flowers were made with a floral cutting die, using handmade pattered papers, and I liked the affect of the swirl with those flowers.

Girlie Bear

Sweet Bear

I found these lovely detailed 3D stickers in my craft stash and thought it was time to use them.

I really like the detail in the tag and the cute girlie bear :D
The watering can even has a metal look covering.

I has the backing paper in my stash and it just works so well with the colours in these stickers

A sweet little card :D

Bauble Wreath

Earlier this month it was snowing!

Snow makes me think of winter and christmas :D  So here's another festive card.

I decided to make this card with cutting dies and one of my embossing folders

I used one of the fancy frames, using all the layers, one being cut with glitter.
Also used all the bauble dies I have, again all cut in different shades of glitter card.
And holly, again all in glitter card, so this card sparkles lovely in the light :D

I quite enjoyed doing this card, though I felt the baubles would of worked better in a wreath on a larger card - this was a 6x6

Wishing for Summer

I'm looking forward to warmer weather :D

And since I am thinking about summer, I made this card using a lovely summery design from one of Joanna Sheen's craft CDs

The artwork is vintage, however, it has an almost every day feel too.

I loved the colours in this 3D design, and sent with white and purple for the rest of the card.
I made the embellishments with cutting dies, a floral one and a feather one.

I really liked this card, it was relaxing to make and perhaps that had something to do with the lovely scene :D

Festive Party Dress

Love Party Frocks.

This detailed paper is one by Hundydory, I love the party dress, I had one like that when I was younger, though in a different colour.

It would of been a shame to cover that lovely dress, so I just added festive embellishments made cutting dies and material leaves.

The leaves are gold sprayed and the bauble's are cut in glitter, so plenty of sparkle on this card

Purple Hydrangea

Purple, my favourite colour

I found the hydrangea design in my stash, and the colour just jumped out at me, a lovely shade of purple

I have quite a few purple patterned backing papers in my stash, I can't resist purple if it catches my eye when I do get new craft stash (lol)

So I used purple and white throughout this card, the tag is an embossed sticker.  And I used a small butterfly cutting die to sit on those lovely flowers.

Layered Lillies

Yep, another of those lovely 3D stickers, this one I combined with patterned embossed stickers (lol)

It's surprising what you find it your craft stash, if you go a hunting. I have a selection of embossed patterned sticky ribbons and tags. Of which I had mostly forgotten about. So combined some of those elements with the lovely 3D lillies on this card.

The patterned elements don't stand out as much as I felt they should because I decided on using one of mono toned backing papers I have.
I purchased a small paper pad of these patterned papers, and then found I wasn't sure how they worked in with the rest of the artwork I have!

I hadn't realised how much I use colours, rather than just black and white!

Wonderful Words

This card I made for a friend.

The topper was from a Debbi Moore craft mag, I really liked the words, and just what I needed to support a friend.

I used a few different cutting dies on this card, the layering is one of my favourites, love the pattern in that framing die.
The flowers and butterfly were cut with handmade pattern paper, and the key, was painted with cosmic paints.

Turned out to be a pretty, detailed card :D

Garden Flowers

This card was mostly made with detailed, 3D stickers.

I went a bit bold this time and went for bold patterns and bright colours.
Not as subtle I tend to make, but it was fun to see how the vibrant shade would work together

The detail in the sticker was lovely, those gems were included, and the pot has a flower gem too.

The backing paper, was one of the more bold rose designs I have, one of those that you never quite know what to use it with.

This card is busy, lots of detail, and plenty to see :D

Floral Teddy

Whilst searching through my craft stash, I found some 3D stickers that had been in my craft stash for ages.

They are really pretty, such nice detail, so decided it's about time I used them :D

This card was made with one of the cute, detailed bear stickes.  The whole sticker is dimentional, and gilded, and the ribbon came on the design too.

I used a really pretty backing paper, with roses and butterflies. I have a lovely selection of pretty papers in my stash, and try and use them as much as possible, which is probably why I don't use my embossing panels as much.

Really like this sweet little card :D

Vintage Flower Lady Free Art

I do like this new design sheet Ive created.  Please click on the image, save to your PC and resize as you wish before printing.

The vintage lady design is so pretty, a family of flower people. I decided to make a couple of ribbons to compliment the toppers and the tag
