Lady in Pink Toppers - Free Art

Please click on the image for larger version, save to PC. Then resize as required before printing.

I change a lot of my vintage digital art into transparent background psp images, this allows me to the blend into interest collages.
I went for different shaped toppers on this sheet, using the vintage lady and flowers, with slightly different backings,   really elegant collection

Playing in the Snow Too

This festive card was made using freebies from a craft mag.

The paper and the topper were a matching set and I love the detail, not just in the topper - which is lovely - but also the paper.
The snowflakes are so delicate in the paper

I just added a few small snowflake embellishments to this card, didn't want to take away from the lovely detail in the artwork.

Art Deco Feather and Pink

I still really love art deco elegant lady designs, I love the fashion of that period

This 3D design is one by Debbi Moore, I love the artwork, and colours and the collage.

I wanted to add an embellishment that would compliment the outfit, so went with bold feathers, with a gem

The paper is from a set of delicate flowers, and the pink tones worked well with the pink in the design

The cards Ive been showcasing recently were made end of last month, Ive not made a new one all of August so far, due to an injury to my hand. So very frustrating, that I am still out of action, and hoping to be able to craft soon

I am working through my digital collection this year and trying to use artwork I had not used before

I didn't realise how much I had collected over the years until I started this process, and so much I had yet to use :D

I had this lovely dolphin design, and added a fancy corner frame to it. Was one I could also make into a simple 3D design too.
I still like 3D designs on my cards, though I don't have as many layers on my cards now

The embellishment is a branch die, which I thought could look like underwater plants :D Added a bit of glitter to that embellishment too.

Fun in the Snow

I got a set of toppers and backing papers with a craft mag, end of last year, and didn't get chance to use them all last christmas.

I'm going to get them used up for this year and this card is using one of the toppers and papers.

I love the lilac tones in this card, the topper is a bit smaller than I would normally use, though the artwork is ever so nice.

I added a tree to this card, one that I find is really difficult to to cut out, so I don't tend to use often. It was a free cutting die I got last year.

Festive Bird Wreath

I have been browsing my large collection of digital art to fine art I haven't used before on cards, especially festive themed ones

I have found quite a few, lovely artwork that I had forgot all about, this card was made with one of those.

The artwork is lovely, berries and birds included in the lovely wreath. Not one I could make into a 3D design, but still looks lovely has a single layered image

I used layers of card beneath this topper to give depth instead.

The embellishment was made with a poinsettia cutting die I got end of last year, it came with leaves and swirls, so decided to use both with the flower this time and quite like the affect, its really pretty

Purple Iris with Swirls

I love swirls, and I love flowers :D

This card has both. The swirls pattern in the embossed card and the swirl embellishment with one of the swirl dies I got earlier this year.

The topper is by Debbi Moore, one from a floral craft cd I have in my collection. I love the artwork, the colours are so nice

I added a couple of butterflies on this card, used them alot of my summer cards this year.
Probably because I have seen a lack of them in nature this year, normally I see lots of lovely butterflies whilst out on my walks

Poinsettia Lady

It's coming to the time of year when most of my cards I share on here are festive themed
I tend to make the most in Christmas cards in a year, and I can imagine a lot of crafters can relate :D
Fortunately I love making festive cards and this year I am trying to make more of my own collages

This card I made with one of my own collages, which was made from the collection of digital art I have.  I've got quite good at making transparent backed images, which makes creating layered collage toppers so much easier.

I used a lovely cutting die, that I got end of last year, for the embellishment. I had been using a different die, but Im loving the patterned edging on the leaves with this die, and the die comes with either these swirls, or leaves, and I like the affect with both :D

Lovely modern feel to this card, though I did add a bit of vintage with the paper

Metalic Summer Flowers

I've not quite given up on summer, so make this pretty little floral card

The design is a Dufex design, pretty much used up all that I had of this stuff.
I like the metalic reflect affect, though I have always found dufex difficult to cut out.

The paper I used, had been in my stash for a while, and is so delicate, works well with this design

And I used the smallest butterfly cutting die to make the embellishments, cut in glitter card.  The tiny gems added a nice touch

I have quite a few Marianne creatable cutting dies in my collection, they have become a favourite to use. They mostly cut really well and some of them are very pretty.

Anyone for Golf

I've needed to make a few male themed cards of late.

Fortunately I have a nice selection of designs by Debbi Moore, to try.
This golf one is a recent design I got by Debbi Moore, and has the option of a nice shaped 3D design

The paper is from one of Debbi Moore's craft mags, and blended well with the topper

I added a small embellishment from my stash, but has little else even with my cutting dies to compliment this design.

Blue Baubles

Getting into a nice routine with making this years christmas cards, perhaps its due to it not being that warm this summer!

The topper, on this card, is one by Debbi Moore, from one of her craft mags

The artwork is so sweet, really like that little mouse

As a lot of the design is blue, I went for blue tones for most of the card.
The bauble was cut out in blue glitter card, the glitter doesnt show up well on this card, but does show in the light.

Steam Train Travel

This design is one from a Joanna Sheen collection, one I really like for making male cards

Steam trains remind me of Harry Potter, whenever I see them now :D

I cut the topper with a Xcut die and continued using the same set for all the layers.

The leaves are a different cutting die, painted with cosmic paints. Love the leaves, the detailed when embossed are nicely realistic

A Car in Time

I have been making more of my own toppers using the collection of digital art I have collected
I used modern and vintage images for this topper and
have made a 3D sheet for this design, but decided just to use a single topper on this card.

The backing paper is from a collection of vintage designs, and I added a splash of colour with the embellishment painted with gold and orange
